Note: All HDP5000 and DTC4500 lamination modules utilize a cartridge system to load overlaminate materials. A HDP5000 and DTC4500 single-sided lamination module utilizes only cartridge 1, while a duplex simultaneous lamination module utilizes cartridges 1 and 2.
Fargo 82608 half patch lamination (also referred to as alternating overlamination) provides a layer of protection over your printed cards, making them more durable and providing protection from wear and fading. The Fargo 82608 applies a half-patch laminate on the magnetic stripe side or back side of the card.
Fargo 82608 laminate is perfect for magnetic stripe cards applying maximum overlamination while leaving the card's magnetic stripe exposed.
Note: for maximum protection of your magnetic stripe cards use the 82608 Half Patch laminate in conjunction with the Fargo 82601 1.0 mil PolyGuard Laminate - 250 imprints to apply a full patch laminate to the front side of the card.
A printer with lamination capability is needed in order to use Fargo 82608 overlamination.
Fargo card printers require specialized Fargo overlaminate to function properly. To maximize printed card quality and printer durability, use only genuine Fargo overlaminate.
